Webinar: Simulating Hydraulic Fracturing in Jointed Rock using XSite

This webinar demonstrated setting-up a hydraulic fracturing model in XSite and reviewed the simulation results. The model consisted of two boreholes, each with two stages, in a fractured rock mass. Each stage consisted of four perforation clusters.

A background on XSite and its methodology and a comparison between simulation results for several cases (varying fracture properties and a base case with no pre-existing fractures) was also presented.

XSite is a powerful three-dimensional hydraulic fracturing numerical simulation program based on the Synthetic Rock Mass (SRM) and Lattice methods.

This webinar was held on Thursday | November 12, 2020 at 10 am (CST).
