Homogeneous Embankment Dam Analysis (Part 1 of 3)

This tutorial series shows you how to calculate the total and effective stresses and water flow in a homogeneous embankment dam. This FLAC 8.1 tutorial demonstrates how to establish the stresses in the dry embankment prior to the formation of the upstream reservoir. This is part one of a three part tutorial series.
