Mr. Blanksma is a geotechnical engineer with experience in experimental design and analysis of soil and rock. He has experience in laboratory testing, including direct shear, uniaxial compression, triaxial compression and fracture testing.
In addition to experimental applications, he also has experience in numerical modeling applied to slope stability in soil and rock mass containing inclusions. Derrick also has experience with computer-aided design relating to experimental fabrication and surface structure rendering.
