Join us for our free webinar on Passive Seismic Data Processing using InSite. This webinar will present an overview of the main steps in the processing of seismic data including: event detection, automated phase identification and picking, event location and managing uncertainty. The main parameters affecting the processes and their optimisation will be discussed using real-life data from Itasca’s consulting projects in the monitoring of reservoir engineering operations.

The latest tools available in InSite (version 3.16.1) will be presented which will include a walk through demonstration of InSite’s seismic data processing functionality and capability and most relevant new features.

InSite™ is an integrated data management, processing, visualisation and interpretation software suite developed for seismological studies. It provides a solution for all seismology applications, ranging in scale from acoustic emissions in the laboratory, through microseismics around mining and petroleum fields, up to regional-scale earthquakes. InSite has been developed as a commercial product by Itasca Consulting Ltd. over the past 20 years and is currently used by companies, research institutes and universities for the management, processing and interpretation of seismic, microseismic and acoustic emission data.

The webinar is of interest to geophysicists, geologists, mine, reservoir and structural engineers, rock mechanics professionals and all stakeholders involved in the monitoring of subsurface operations, induced and natural seismicity or structure integrity.
