The Company
HCItasca Denver (formally HCI) provides consulting services in ground-water hydrology, surface-water hydrology, contaminant hydrogeology, and aqueous geochemistry. We work directly with mining and industrial companies, law firms, non-regulatory government agencies, and as a specialist consultant to other consulting firms.
HCItasca Denver is committed to using the most appropriate methods of investigation for a given problem, considering both technical and economic factors. The level of investigation can range from a simple analysis, based on our collective experience and judgment, to use of state-of-the-art field methods and numerical models. The experience and training of our Principals and technical staff cover a wide spectrum of the hydrologic sciences. Advanced Capabilities
HCItasca Denver maintains advanced capabilities in computer applications for ground-water flow and contaminant transport modeling, database management, and production of high quality graphics using CAD. Our staff is experienced in analytical techniques ranging from basic empirical methods to sophisticated numerical methods.
HCItasca Denver conducts in-house research and development of investigative and analytical techniques. The combination of research and experience is the basis of HCItasca Denver's technical excellence. HCItasca Denver has developed a state-of-the-art, three-dimensional, finite element, ground-water code to simulate complex ground-water systems. This code can be used to simulate mine dewatering, to predict the fate and transport of chemicals in ground water, and to assess the effectiveness of extraction systems.
