David is a geotechnical engineer specialising in the stability analysis of underground mines and large-scale open pits. He has operations experience in the analysis, design and monitoring of large-scale open-pit slopes, along with applied-research and consulting experience in the areas of mine backfill, exposure stability, extraction strategy design in burst-prone environments, caveability analysis and mining-induced subsidence evaluation.

David is a geotechnical engineer with extensive experience in both the mining and civil industries. He has on-site and research experience in the analysis, design, implementation, and monitoring of large-scale open pits. He also has experience as a consultant in various civil and mining projects involving foundations, retaining structures, dams, pavements and soil and rock laboratory testing programs.
