------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- FLAC/Slope 4.00 Modification List Choose "About" from "Help" menu to check version number.) FLAC/Slope version number corresponds to FLAC 4.00 version number. Date Description 12/16/02 Added Report option under [File]/[Make Report] menu item. This creates a report as an HTML-formatted file which includes tables summarizing properties and model conditions, and factor-of-safety results. The report also includes plots of factor of safety and failure surfaces. Note that the HTML file may require excessive system memory if several model cases are included in the report. This may cause the FLAC/Slope graphical window to freeze. If this happens, try creating the report for only one case at a time or without plots. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Official Release Version is FLAC/Slope 1.20.344 on 11A and 12A CD ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 05/04/03 Added message, if model is cloned, to warn that material and cable properties are not cloned. A change in these properties will affect results if original model is rerun. It is better to create a new material for a cloned model if different properties are assigned. 09/18/03 Modification to delete duplicated vertices when two tables coincide on a vertical slope. Duplicate vertices were causing grid-generation errors Modification to suppress characters "/", "\" and ":" in the model name, which caused bad filenames. Replaced by "_". 10/08/03 Modification to tables made on 09/18/03 caused problem with creating a single boundary between two layers. This is now corrected. 01/15/04 Modification so that porosity set equal to 0.0 will be saved in project file. By default, porosity was set to 0.5. Modification to prevent problem with calculating applied pressure if two points of water table are above the slope boundary. 07-01-04 Modification to spinner buttons so that stepping is improverd for negative exponents. 07/06/04 Change to automatic perimeter calculation for geosynthetic sheets. Previously, perimeter = 2 * sqrt(pi * area) which is same as single cable. Now, perimeter = 2 * (1.0 + thickness) for sheet and perimeter = 2 * sqrt(pi * area) for single cable. Note that this increases factor of safety calculation for example in Section 1.4.4 of FLAC/Slope User's Guide. ---------------------------------------------------- Latest FLAC: 4.00.327 Latest GIIC: 1.20.357
