Dr. El Ganainy is a Licensed Geotechnical Engineer in the State of California with experience in explicit and implicit numerical modeling of geo-structural systems and soil-structure interaction (SSI). He is experienced in the geo-seismic field and has performed several site-specific seismic hazard analyses, ground response analyses, and has developed design ground motions for sites in the San Francisco Bay Area.
Dr. El Ganainy is experienced in the geotechnical and structural design of auger cast piles, design and analysis of deep support of excavation (SOE) systems, and seismic probabilistic risk assessment (SPRA) of nuclear power plants (NPP). He has numerical software experience in FLAC3D, Midas GTS NX, PLAXIS 3D, PLAXIS 2D, SASSI, ANSYS, and DEEPSOIL, as well as Python, Visual Basic, and MATLAB programming languages.
